Dr. Dianne Sundby is a licensed psychologist whose private practice addresses both therapeutic and career selection and change concerns. Upon receiving her doctorate from Purdue University, she lectured at the University of Southern California for several years, directed counseling programs, and supervised a number of psychological research projects.

Her writings include the self-help/humor book,
You Know You're An Empty Nester When... and papers and book chapters on dual-career families and the personality dynamics associated with specific careers. She is also the co-author of a creativity assessment procedure.

In addition to psychotherapy, counseling, writing, assessment and research work, Dr. Sundby has consulted on issues concerning management and employee selection and development.

A member of the American Psychological Association, Dr. Sundby has appeared as a guest psychologist on several television and radio programs and is interviewed and quoted frequently by a number of national, as well as Los Angeles-based publications.
